Greetings fellow researchers! I am looking for any JACKSON-CALLEN unions in Pennsylvania around the mid 1700's to early 1800's. I am researching the JACKSON line that may have migrated from Westmoreland Co., PA shortly after the 1790 Census to Butler Co., PA. One of Thomas JACKSON's sons, Hugh C. JACKSON moved to Armstrong Co., PA. I have been unable to determine if the "C" stands for CALLEN or the surname CRAIG, another common thread.
I believe that at least one researcher has mentioned a union between Mary Ann JACKSON and Thomas CALLEN, and named their child Jackson CALLEN. I am researching a hunch that Hugh JACKSON's sister, Elizabeth Jane JACKSON married William REDDICK and that line may also intersect with the CALLENs of PA. Any help pinpointing the JACKSON-CALLEN connection would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you for reading this message and best wishes to you in your own research!
