Hello,
I recently found this gentleman with a lady and son that were listed in a court proceeding to an ancestor of mine.

Family tree:

Joseph Fowler Strickland born NY during 1840's to:
Daniel Strickland born abt 1805 NY
and
Huldah (White) Strickland born abt 1810 NY

Huldah's parents have been a mystery, but we found a lawsuit in Yates County between with Daniel and Huldah as defendants involving some land that had been sold to Lewis P White and Huldah White.

I found in the 1850 Census Lewis White (38), Margaret White (27), Huldah (?) white (74) born Massachusetts, and Joseph F White (79) born Pennsylvania.

From the 1812 registry of military enlisters there was a Jospeh White age 40 who listed his birth location as York county, PA.
Does anyone know anything about these two Josephs or how they might connect up to families from Pennsylvania?
