Jager/Yeager, Vidic and Simenc Families

Classification: Query
Surnames: Jager Yeager Vidic Simenc
My husband's great grandfather was born January 8 1879 in Csnice, Lyubljani, Austria. His name was John (Or Johann) Jager. (Later their named changed to the Yeager spelling.) We found him on a ship manifest, traveling with his nephew Johan Vidic and Franciska Vidic, who were going to meet their father Josef Vidic. John Jager was on his way to Green River, WY to be a barrel maker for the local brewery, ran by the Gaensellen family. At some point John married a woman often referred to as Betty. On their marriage certificate, her name is listed as Betty Simene, or so we thought. We found her on a ship manifest in about 1920 on her way from Trieste, Italy, and her name was listed as Elisabeth Simenc, and she listed her home as Yugoslavia and her sweetheart was John Jager. My husband's line stops there, we have no other information. I am waiting to hear back from our state archives to see if we can get their death certificates to see if there is more info on them. Does any of this sound familiar at all to anyone? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
