Hello,

Trying to find the name for the city in Slovenia that my Great Great Grandpa came from. I am attaching a manifest of him coming through Canada. His name is Franzo Shulz (number 4). He spoke Serbian and listed his birthplace as Austria, Hungary, Yugoslavia, Yougoslovakia and Jugoslavia on various documents. In addition to this on occasion he would claim to be German. On his WWI draft enlistment, he states he was born in Jaksihc, Austria (Jaksic maybe?). At any rate, the best hope I have to making sense of it all, is his last address. If anyone could look at the manifest and help me figure out the towns name at that time? He arrived in May of 1907 if that helps. I will be honest, I have a suspicion that this side of the family were gypsies, considering what I have found thus far. If anyone could also help me understand if Yugoslavia, or Slovenia had gypsies? I hope this isn't a stab in the dark. If you need more information I can elaborate.
