Hi,
My great grandmother was named Maggie May Jones, she married Earl Brown Brooks in 1915 or 1916 in Oklahoma. They had a child, Robert Edward Brooks in 1921 or 1922. In my Grandfather Robert Brooks' obituary (he died in 1959) she is listed as Margaret Speck of Spokane, Washington.

I have attached the ONLY photograph I have of her :(. She is the younger woman standing in the photo. I would love any photos of her or more information about her.

Her obituary Spokane Daily Chronicle-May 15, 1965

Speck, Margaret
Passed away May 14 at a local hospital. A resident of Spokane. Survived by 1 sister, Edna Crary, Great Bend, Kan. Her last services have been intrusted to the care of the SMITH Funeral Home, W1124 Riverside Ave.

I'm not 100% sure any of this is her, but on the marriage certificate to Earl she is listed as being from Sparks, Oklahoma:

Sparks, Lincoln, Oklahoma 1910 census:

Dick Cook-age 29
Etta Cook-age 34-this is her 2nd marriage (married 3 years) born KS.
Maggie Jones-stepdaughter-age 10-born Arkansas-father born Missouri-mother born KS.
Edna Jones-stepdaughter-age 8-born Oklahoma-father born Missouri-mother born KS.
Ruby Cook-daughter-age 3.

On the 1900 census for De Soto, Marion County, Arkansas

Frank Jones-age 22-born Missouri
Etta Jones-age 25-born KS
Maggie Jones-age 3 months-born (Feb)-Arkansas

My father remembers my grandfather living with a lady named Vesta, they called her "aunt vesta." I found on someone's familytree Etta's name is Louetta Irene Hazen and she has a sister named Minnie Vesta Hazen.

On findagrave.com Dick and Etta Cook are buried in White Dove Cemetery, Sparks, Lincoln County, Oklahoma. Also Ruby Cook Fisher and H. Floriene Cook Campbell are buried at White Dove.
