The following handwritten list on lined note paper was found in the KUMP/DeGROFT family bible. SUSAN CASHLER (b. 1 JUN 1823, d. 4 APR 1900) married (16 JAN 1843) ANDREW KUMP (b. 25 NOV 1817, d. 16 NOV 1894). The Kump Family lived in Adams County.

This handwritten record of the "Cashler" family found in the Kump/DeGroft Family Bible is most probably in the hand of Mary Catherine (Metz) Kump. The handwriting on the list matches the bible entries for herself and her family. She married George Washington Kump on 26 SEP 1871.
