Hi, I live in Oregon and am trying to get some copies of marriage records from the 1850s at St Mary's church. I was told that these records have been put on microfilm and should be available at a local library?
I have exact dates, and do know the records exist as I've come across another researchers notes in 2001 who accessed them. I would be willing to reimburse costs or I can also trade for anything in Oregon you might need looked up (I have access to all of Oregon's historic newspaper archives). If this is something that someone might be able to help with, please let me know!
Records I am interested in copies of are:
5 Nov.1851
Joseph HIESER, widower, son of deceased Barnabas HIESER and deceased Agatha BALL
Regina Gell, widow of Joseph Hiegel, daughter of deceased Constantin Gell & deceased Eva Barbera Webering
witnesses: Joseph Klein, Joseph Gell
and
1 June 1858
Antonius HIESER, son of Joseph and deceased Theresia SOLLNER
Catharina KRIM, daughter of deceased Georgius and deceased Catharina WOLF [wrong daughter?]
witnesses: Joseph Sorg, Johannes Sorg
Thanks so much! :)Jessica
