Please contact me with any information on the SYZEK line, especially FREDERICK and ANNA SYZEK, who came from the Ukraine, RAYMOND SYZEK, of Amsterdam, Montgomery County, New York, or his children: GARY, JIM or BETH. My great-grandparents were MARTIN & MARY SYZEK, from Poland. They entered North America around 1903, with at least one son, MICHAEL JOSEPH, who was born in 1886. My father, HENRY, lived with his mother LOUISE SYZEK (SLIWINSKI), an uncle NICHOLAS, a brother EDWARD, and one sister, STELLA, in the North End of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Besides Ellis Island records of two other SYZEKS who entered NY from Austro-Hungary in 1892 & 1910, I know of no other SYZEKs outside of North America.
