Hello, I am researching Sophie Laroche, whose parents were Francis Laroche and possibly Marie Rougier (spelling?). Sophie was born about 1842 (in NY?) and married Andre Foucreau. Their son Andrew (Foucreau dit)Mesick, Jr. was my ancestor. I think I have located her family in the 1850 census in Champlain, and again in the 1860 census, but have not found any mention elsewhere. Is anyone else researching this line?
