I would appreciate hearing from anyone who has knowledge of the Luton (Lewton) family of Hertford and their relatives.

One of the Lutons, my gggrandfather Enoch Luton, was lst sgt. in the 14th Regiment, US Colored Heavy Artillery during the Civil War.

His wife, Martha, was also from Hertford and her maiden name was Keene.

One of their daughters, my ggrandmother was Amanda, who married a William J. Parker of Hertford.
