I am doing research on James Samuel Singleton B.1813 in South Carolina. We had thought he was B in Ga..According to some information I've gleaned Ga. wasn't a state at this time. One census has him B in S.C (thats what I believe ) and one has him as Ga. His second wife Sarah Fitzpatric could have given that info and may not have known.
