I am a decendant of John Forrester, a Union soldier in Company E 10th Regiment, who was wounded during the battle of Droop Mountain Nov. 6, 1863. He was moved to a field hospital in Hillsboro and died on Nov 14. I am looking for someone to contact that may know of the history of this event and where John may be buried.
