I am seeking information about the Jones families that were living in Shelby County from about 1830. Lewis Jones b abt 1811 S C was my GG Grandfather. He married Minerva McClendon in Shelby County and they had the following children; Harriet married John Hall, George W. married Margaret Ditto, William Rusher married Sarah James, Lewis Jr. (Dank) married Rebecca Lumbers. I believe Sanders Jones may havebeen the brother of Lewis and Vincent Jones was possibly the father or grandfather. Any information will be appreciated.
