I am searching for information about Ophelia Marrs Zimmerman. She was the mother of John Leonard Zimmerman. According to the 1880 census, she was living in Danville with her son, daughter-in-law, Annie Kalfus Frederick Zimmerman and her grandchildren, John Wesley and Floride Zimmerman.
I am also seeking information on Mattie Fisher Gashwiler, the daughter of Colonel Jason A. Fisher. In 1890 she created a family tree for her father. She was a cousin of Annie Kalfus Frederick Zimmerman. I know that she married a widower. I have never heard what happened to her. She and Annie Kalfus Frederick Zimmerman were descended from Adam Fisher, an early settler of Danville and a American Revolution veteran.
