Looking for information mainly on Robert Gordon born Kangaroo Flat 1870 d? and his wife Mary Kentish. They had one daughter Elsie Gordon abt June 1900 and died 1942 in Wangaratta, Victoria.

Any information would be appreciated. I have found Robert Gordon's family line, but no luck what so ever on Mary Kentish.

Elsie married Harry Burgess in 1934 in Wangaratta and had three children - Eileen Margaret (my Mother) b 1935, Rosemarie b 1937 but died 5 mths later and William Charles b 1939.

Family from Melbourne would come and visit the family, but after the death of Elsie that all ceased. My mother was only 7 yrs old when her mother died so knows only the names and nothing else of her grandparents and we would all love to know a bit about them. To make things more difficult Harry was not one to speak of family etc as he had his own "secrets" like 7 half brothers and sisters we knew nothing about until several years after his death.

So if any-one knows a bit about the Gordon-Kentish connection I would be grateful.
