Surnames: SABATER, SABATE, REYES, HERNANDEZ, BERANC
Does anyone have genealogy material possibly showing the family relationships between the HERNANDEZ, REYES, AND SABATER/SABATE families living in Fernandina Beach, Florida in the early 1800s and in Savannah, Georgia in the 1850s and later??? My ancestor, Casilda (maiden name Sabater/Sabate or Hernandez) married Pierre (Peter) Beranc, of France, about 1855, probably in Havana or Marianao Cuba. They moved to Savannah, back to Marianao (where 3 children were baptised) in the late 1860s, then returned to Savannah. People living in this home, probably related, have surnames of Hernandez or Reyes and claim Fernandina Beach or Cuba as their place of birth. I am trying to determine Casilda's maiden name. I have more info and have visited Cuba. Please contact me if you are working in this area.
