I installed this last week after much trouble (had to install with a "clean boot") uploaded my gedcoms etc. no problem there. My issue is that for the last two days, every once and awhile when I go to "Web Search", I get the message "Web URL not Valid" or "URL Unavailable". However if I open another browser page and go directly to the website, I have no problems searching the databases! It is only happening when I connect via FTM.
My other issues are: lagging keystrokes when I type in note editor....really really bad! Also the main issue I have when I do connect to Ancestry via FTM, is the "Person from your tree/Search result detail" frame in the lower part of the FTM window. Much of the time, either the search result detail will NOT change from result to result or the "Person from you Tree" does NOT change when I'm searching another person! This makes it impossible to merge matching results when I find them! ONE more issue: Since yesterday (also in the person/result widow) on the result side I keep getting prompted to log-in about every 5 minutes....ugh! I'm very frustrated with this software and I've only be using a week :( Any suggestions? Thanks
