I am looking for connection of my GGGrandmother Elizabeth Hart who was born in SC and moved to GA sometime in the 1840s. My problem, I know not her maiden name nor the given name of her husband. My only hope is that someone in SC is knowledgeable of them while doing their trees. She was born in 1798 in SC and died in GA in 1875. Ledgend has it she may have been native Indian. She came to GA along with some of her children, all bn in SC. They included Martha, bn 1825, Calvin, bn 1827, William H., bn 1832, Nancy bn 1834 and John bn 1836. There were possibly others. They were possibly tied to the Wells and Watson families of SC and appeared to have all migrated together. Is there anyone in SC who may have ties to this strand of Harts and wondered what happened to them? Please let me know if you have any clue on this band of Harts.
