I am looking for information about brothers Belvin and Alfred Forbes (possibly orphans) who were living with the Porter family in Ohio in 1860. Belvin moved to Shedd Oregon and married Lilly Porter. They had a son named Alfred Dale. Belvin's brother Alfred married Lydia J. Smith. Alfred and Lydia are buried in Beresford, South Dakota. I wonder if these brothers might be related to Belvin and Alfreda Forbes of Corydon New York.
