Surnames:
RORKE, ROURKE, O'ROURKE, LINEN, LINNEN, PHALEN, NEWMAN, THORNHILL
I am looking for any information about a number of families in the Riverhead area of Suffolk county. I believe all came from Ireland between 1845-1855 and some had roots up in Litchfield Country of Connetcticut (Newman and Rorke).
Linnen also has been spelled as Linen on some census records
Rorke has been spelled Rourke and O'Rourke
I would appreciate corresponding with anyone with these names in their family tree to determine possible connections
Thank you
