Mrs. Lyons, aged 95 years, died at the home of her daughter Mrs. Judson Porter. Up to a short time ago, she had been in full retention of all her faculties and was wonderfully bright and cheerful. Her home was formerly in Pembroke, ME. She leaves a large family. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. S.J. Perry.
Mrs Lyons was Lavinia Scott, daughter of Charles Scott and Jane Grierson who resided at Mascarene. Lavinia married 1) Charles Barnes and 2) Reuben Lyons. Both predeceased her. Her daughter Harriet Barnes married John Alexander Howard who settled in Eastport, ME.
