Bettie is still with us, Gerald (b. 5/13/1930 in Kansas; d. 12/23/1980 in San Bernadino, CA) has passed away. Bettie is my great aunt and she is now up there in years and everytime I talk with her she mentions ALL of her children, her heart is still broken that 4 of her 6 children were taken away.
Here's what I could gather:
She was allowed to keep the eldest and the youngest so the other 4 were born between 1948 and 1958. They were Jack, Jan, Joseph, and Judy Simpson.
The eldest son was Gerald Emil, Jr. b. 5/18/1948 and d. 11/2/1985 in San Bernadino, CA. So youngest is Michelle and they both now live in Kansas.
Gerald died in California and apparently has a checkered past and another family as someone from that family had contacted me and then decided not to tell the others on that side about the above.

Bettie thinks that the woman that took her kids may have gone to Oregon or Washington.
