I am looking for information on William F. Hinkle (alternate spelling may be Hinkel)born 1908, died 1967. He was born in Mt. Carmel and his parents were Jacob Jeffrey Hinkle (Hinkel) (1879-1943) and Bessie Schreffler (1887-1918). He had a wife, Irene and several (unknown number) children, perhaps all girls. They might include a set of twins. I am a descendant of his brother, George Hinkle. I am George's grand daughter. I remember my grandfather saying "Uncle Bill" was a police officer. I have fund him in the 1930 census, but cannot locate him or Irene in 1940 census. I still do not know the names of his children. Does anyone know where he was anytime after 1930? Any help wold be appreciated.
