Checking through the registers for Newchurch , found this line if you are interested.
Joshua Pate , baptized 1st feb 1699 father Richard Pait.
20th december 1731 married Prudence Smith
entry for 16th and 18th April 1736 shows 2 children buried James and Ellen , of Joshua of Gravestones ? not sure what that means.
13th March 1737 Daughter Elizabeth Baptized
2nd March 1739 son Richard baptized
31st July 1743 son Joseph baptized
12th December 1745 Joshua baptized
20th february 1747 Joseph buried
1754 William baptized.
William is one if the last entries in this register, others are
John Pate 26th March 1753 he married Mary Hargreaves or Hargraves, both of St Marys chapelry.
10th February 1754 a son Robert baptized this was definitly the last family in the register
Its all a but sketchy , very difficult to keep backtracking, the entries at these dates are not very informative , but they do get better in the 19th century.
