Eleanor Grace Layton, 91,
of Elizabeth Township, died Friday, May 23, 2008. She was born March 13, 1917, in Lincoln Borough, and was the daughter of the late Clarence S. And Helen R. Hankins Davis; and was the wife of the late Duane H. Layton, who died March 26, 1994. She was a member of First United Presbyterian Church of Boston and the Elizabeth Township Senior Citizens. She is survived by a son, Bruce D. (Carol) Layton, of Pittsburgh; daughter, Sherryll Pribanic, of Elizabeth Township; sisters, Genevieve Rack, of Elizabeth Township and Florida, and Lila Gdovic, of Elizabeth Township; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Milton Davis; and a sister, Doris DelSignore. Friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the GILBERT FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY INC., 6028 Smithfield St., Boston, Elizabeth Township. Service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home with the Rev. William H. Thomas officiating. Interment will follow at the Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth Township.
