Visited the family tree site and on #43 ii. entry for William Henry Ankney, I can answer a few questions as he was my great grandfather. He founded the village of Sweetwater in 1908 and there are documents in Nez Perce County Idaho to that effect, though it is thought he lived there with his wife Julia for a few years prior to that. They immigrated from Canada where it is known he had a few brothers. To my knowledge he died in Sweetwater, but was not born there. My cousin Twila Madison may have many more details as she has been collecting information on the family for quite some time to assemble into a book.
