I am assisting in the creation of the employment history and life of all the Midland Railway Station Masters. If anyone has a railway station master listed in a census, or that they know about, please contact me and we can share information. If you are nor sure if the Station is part of Midland Railway do not worry, let me have the information anyway. The early years 1840-1880 are the most difficult to find because of missing Midland Railway ledgers for that period. At the moment I am having particular problems finding out about the following people:

John Burgess - at South Wingfield Station in 1845
John Bladon - at Moria , Leicestershire, by 1854
J Gregory - Olney, Buckinghamshire 1873
Richard Smith Potts - Manton, Rutland bu 1843
