My Grandmother, Mary Emma Watkins, was killed in the Halifax Explosion, while travelling from Newfoundland to the States (I presume), however her name does not appear on the list of dead. My grandfather, Enoch Charles Watkins survived, along with several children, one of which was adopted, so I would think that her death would have been reported to some one. The adopted child was my father who was taken in by the Salvation Army and housed in the Armoury. I would be very grateful if someone could provide me with any info whatsoever in tracing my grandparents.
