Joseph Simunek married Marie Koudela (daughter of my second great grandfather)in Bohemia. Joseph and Marie immigrated and lived in Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio for years. Joseph died 11 July 1915 in Warrensville, Cuyahoga County, Ohio. Joseph and Marie and relatives are buried in Woodland Cemetery in Cleveland.

Joseph's wife, Mary Koudela, was born 10 January 1835 in Moravany (near Caslav) in Bohemia. Mary died 27 Aug 1920 in Cleveland.

Know three of their four children:
-Mary, married Andrew Stironek and had six or seven children in Cleveland.
-Frank, married Mary Vojta and had two children - Mary and Rosa.
-Joseph, was born calculated 1870 and was buried 3 May 1890.
