Well, we would like to know whose tree are you attached to Nicole. We are related to the Gnads from Germany. Which came to New York.

As far as I know we are not related to the german Gnad's.
Our first Gnad is from Luxembourg/Waldbredimus abt.1770.But maybe his ancestors came from Germany, till now we have no informations.

Good morning Nicole, If you're the Nicole with the message of 13 Apr 2000 and the name LEIN in the family, than I sent you an email last week. The Lein you mentioned was missing the first name so let me try to fill in the blanks. His first name begins with the letter "H", his parents were (also) H. Lein and Florence Gnad, grand parents John Gnad and Florence Wrigley, ggp John N. Gnad and Margaret Newman, gggp Peter Gnad and Margaret Spies. If this IS correct welcome to the German side of the family and contact me at my email address. If its NOT correct, my error and please leave a message. In either case best ot luck with your research. Tom
