Hi,
I've dug a little, and have found that Adolf Zycha's father was a Dr. Josef Zycha, who lived in Moravia. Adolf Zycha had four sisters and no brothers, but was four years older than Jan.
Josef Zycha was a "high school" (an Austria-Hungary school of the 19th century is not really comparable to a US high school) teacher that also published some papers on Augustine and other Classics subjects, some of them in Latin.
I am writing this from memory after a long phone conversation to Austria with an aunt of mine, Hertha Zycha (daughter of Walter Zycha). So there may be some mistakes. But she is collecting some of her geneology work and will make copies and will send them to me. It may take a while though.
I have started renting my own web server, at
www.czempin.de, and will take over
www.zycha.de from my uncle shortly. I definitely plan to put some ancestry information on Czempins and Zychas there (there's not much there yet).
In the meantime, you can look at the work in progress at
www.czempin.de/nicolai/ (just a fairly current picture of me, but more will come), in particular
www.czempin.de/nicolai/blog.
