I'm looking for any information I can find on the Zybert family name. I have a lot already, but any further information anyone can supply will be greatly appreciated!

Hey - There are other Zyberts out there!

Hi Frank,
I saw the message that you sent to my sister Megan. Got me interested in the Zybert name. I've done a little bit of research myself and by god, the name seems to be all over the place. Was kind of odd to see, it's not such a common name like Smith, etc. I'm still researching (love this internet stuff) and will let you know anything I can. One thing I can tell you, we Zyberts are constitutionaly sound - that is we live to a ripe old age (according to the SSDI site). Have to get going now, but will let you know more when I find out any new/interesting info.

Stacey

I'm glad I could spark your interest in that way.

Stacey,

I'm glad I could spark your interest in that way, and hope you can add to what I've already uncovered. The big question for me is whether your mother knows anything about your dad's parents. (Were they, or their grandparents, from Poland?)

If you're interested in all the details of what I have so far, just drop me an email direrctly, and I fill you in. (Your sister Megan has the address.)

Take care for now.

Hi Frank,
Are you the son of Zygmunt & Frances (Racki) Zybert? I am the grandson of Michael Racki the brother of Frances (Racki) Zybert. I was from Chelsea, MA.

Actually, I'm one of the grandsons of Zygmunt and Francis. Thier first son, Frank, is my father. -- I went to school with your brother Michael, and knew your brother Paul as well. (From St. Stans.) -- My wife, kids, and myself live in California now (NW of LA), but the rest of the family are still in Massacheusetts. How about you?

I think I had come across the fact that their name was originally Radzki somewhere.

And by the way, I have a lot on your side of the family. If you'd like it, just give me your email address and I'll send it to you.

Have you been able to dig up much on the Zybert name? As far as I've been able to go back is that Zygmunt's parents name where Franciezek and Julianna.

The only Zyberts I have are directly related to my children which would be thru your grandmother Frances. If I come across anything on the Zyberts I will let you know. You may already know this but your grandmother had an older half-sister named Helen Racki. She was the aunt that lived next door to my grandfather Michael Racki on Summer St in Chelsea. Her last name was Dushinski. B:12/29/1892, D:3/1972, that's all I have. My main research has been on the Lewis side of the family which is big. I just found out my great-great-great grandmother was jewish and there was a lot of inbreeding going on. My e-mail address is rjl1951@aol.com. The last name I have with Radzki is Walter(Wladislaw) Racki, B:3/12/1911 in Chelsea, D:12/1975 in Rochdale, MA, married to Sophie than it goes to Anthony Racki. Like I said in my last letter I'll send you what I have. See you later.

Robert. I did know about Helen, but I haven't found out who her mother is. And as for Walter, that's unlcle Huck. We used to go visit him in Worchester ever summer until he passed away.

I'll send you the Zybert side that I've compiled so far to you personal email address.

Take care for now.
