Vaclav Zvolanek (B March 21, 1844)
Hi
I'm just wondering if anyone else is related to a Vaclav Zvolanek (B March 21, 1844) who lived in Krucemburk, Czechoslovakia and married a Antonie Glanc (B May 24, 1846.
Vaclav's parents were Vaclav Zvolanek (B May 8, 1815) and Katerina Zvolanek (B Nov 10, 1822. They married on July 7, 1840 in Krucemburk, Czech
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you

Lesa,
I am interested in any relatives from Krucemburk. My grandmother, Frances Dymacek, left there in 1913 and her brother, Anton, later the same year and came to Texas. I have reason to believe that the Zvolaneks and the Dymaceks were kin back in time.
Have you found any such connection?

Hi Pat Thanks for responding. I have heard that there is a connection but unfortunately I really do not know where. At time I have really stopped with the family research due to being really busy with kids and work. If you would like, you can email me at lottersberg@hotmail.com and we can go from there. Thanks Lesa

HI Pat
I have noticed by some information that I have received from people in Czech that my Great-Grandmother's (Julia Zvolanek) brother Eduard Zvolanek (b. 10.02.1893) was married to a Blazena Zvolankova on 03.27.1969. They had two children in Czech, a Josef Zvolanek on 12.10.1924 and a Jiri Zvolanek on 04.24.1926. I do not have a birth date for Blazena. Would you happen to be related to this person?
Thanks
Lesa

Re: Zvolaneks-Dymacek connection
Hi Pat,
Have I sent you the information I have on the direct connection between the Zvolaneks and Dymaceks. It seems I have, but am revisiting old haunts and saw your posting again. I also came across Vaclav Zvolanek who married Katerine Zivota and had a daughter Josefa, born 24 February 1801 in # 54 Krucemburk (Krizova), Bohemia. Josefa died while living in # 172 on 15 May 1841. Could that be a Zvolanek in your tree?
I am also interested in Anton's siblings. I have never connected him to the Dymaceks on my side. I now have a contact who lives close to Krucemburk who is willing to do some research there for me and if I could have the names of Anton and France's (Frantiska???)siblings, it would be of great benefit.
I now have some 51,500 people in an unlisted tree, at least it is not posted on the internet, and if you have some Dymacek names and dates that you are not sure they belong to your family, let me know, I can use all I can get. Smile!

Re: Zvolaneks-Dymacek connection
Hello, I've just joined this website. I am looking for any information to help me find the ancestry of my maternal grandfather, Jan (John) Zvolanek. He settled in the area of Richardson County NE. Although his family may have moved farther east into Russia, they may have originated from the areas you've discussed in your posts. I do not know Jan's parents names, although I suspect his father was also named Jan because it appears so on the immigration papers. Jan also had a younger brother named Wenzel who also came to NE. Apparently everyone lost contact with each other in 1918.
I haven't figured out how to find any Zvolaneks on the European database... thanks for any help, Denise

Re: Zvolaneks-Dymacek connection
Interesting... My grandmothers cousin, Aneska Zvolanek, came with her to America and went to Nebraska. Email me on fowler_patricia@hotmail.com and we will see if we can connect anything. Pat

I'm researching my grandfather, Jan (John) Zvolanek, born in Bohemia or Russia in 1891. One document in my possession mentions Krucemburk. So it's possible they'd be related. I'd love to know how you found the records you have, since I can find nothing from across the ocean about any relatives.

Re: Zvolaneks-Dymacek connection
I move rather slowly on follow-up, but will find my records with more specific info and e-mail you someday soon. Thanks for the response.
Meanwhile, if you have anything that helps within this website to search/attach ancestors from Bohemia, Czech Republic, Russia or Ukrania, let me know!
