My great aunt Mary Wargo married John Zvara in 1923. They lived in Mansfield Ohio area.
Mary Wargo was born in Brusetown, Pennsylvania 1902.

They had no children. John died around 1974.

Any info would be appreciated.

Hello,

I'm doing Zvara Family research. Do you happen to know any more information about the John you are searching about? I found an obitury online for him while I was searching for my family.

Can we corespond a while to try and find out about our families. Let me know.

Hi Carla:
Although your post was 10 years ago, I remember meeting John Zvara in 1973. If it was the same man, he was always alone and lived in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, over the water from Detroit. He was related to Peter Zvara II, (cousins?)who lived in Toledo and often drove over the border to visit him, as well as some other Hungarian friends who lived in the area. I was a young woman at the time, and remember him as a very friendly, thin and wrinkled older man, who laughed a lot,and spoke English with a thick accent. (I was briefly married to Peter Zvara III, and met all the old Hungarians who had immigrated to America during the early decades of the 1900's. I remember hearing stories about Uncle John and Aunt Mary, although I never met Mary.) Do you think this would have been the same man?

Mrs. Peter (Barbara) Zvara
