Anna Zmitrovich
Anna Zmitrovich, of rear 552 Garfield St., Hazleton, died at her home Thursday morning after a lengthy illness.
Born in Hazleton, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Anna (Merola) DeBlass, and spent her entire life in Hazleton.
She was a memebr [sic] of Most Precious Blood Church, Hazleton.
She was a machine operator for Empire Cleaners in Hazleton.
Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, were sisters, Rose Meikarantz and Josephine Ruffi.
Surviving are her husband, Walter; a son, Joseph Sr., Hazleton; brothers, John, Hazleton, and Thomas , Carmen, and Salvadore, all of New Jersey; sisters, Marie Rogus and Jennie Detz, both of New Jersey, and Loretta Seglia, Moosic; five grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held Monday at 9 a.m. from the DiPronio Funeral Home, 314 E. Third St., Hazleton, followed by a Mass of Christina Burial at 9:30 in Most Precious Blood Church. Entombment will be in the mausoleum in Calvary Cemetery, Drums.
