I am trying to trace ancestry on my mother's side. Her mother -- my grandmother -- was Rachel (Rae) Zlotnick, born in NYC in 1897. Her parents from Jacob and Lena Zlotnick who emigrated from somewhere in Russia to NYC in 1888. If this rings a bell with anyone, I'd appreciate hearing from you.
