Antonius & Anna

Surnames: Zbikowski-Chatkowska
My grandparents were Antonius Zbikowski (1869-1957) and Anna (Chatkowska) Zbikowski (1881-1962). They migrated from Poland(?) arrived around 1902 and settled in Bayonne, New Jersey where they lived until their deaths. I have never been able to find the entry port nor have I been able to make the connection to Europe. I have found several variations such as the addition of a y/a/e in place of the "i" ending and another is Zlishowski. Any additional information would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

If your ancestors had social security numbers than the SS-5Form will have a place of birth.
If they married in US than the church marriage record would have a place of birth.
How about the children's baptismal record? I think there too you should be able to find a place of birth.
The 1930 census should have a notation Na-naturalized; Al-alien; Pa-first paper? Might you know which one for your ancestor? If not naturalized and lived pass 1940 than an Alien Registration Form to request.

check in 1940, 1930, 1920, 1910 census and look for inconsistency and notation Na-naturalized; Al-alien or Pa-first paper.

Sometimes a draft registration form might have a place of birth.
Any member ever mentioned Russia.Poland or Prussia.Poland?

Is this your grandparents in 1940 census?
Both ancestors have Pa-first paper. They started their naturalization process. You might want to check into that. If they did not naturalized than an Alien Registration Form they had to fill out. There would be a place of birth.

By any chance ancestor's death certificate has social security numbers written on there?
