Thus we see that your dad was born in California in 1925 but his brother Walter was born in Washington in 1921 and his mother's maiden name was Stocking. There is not a birth location given for their father, Nicholas, born in 1891. You also have SSN's for all three (though to be honest, I don't believe Nicholas would have had a SSN; it's probably an error). Still, I'd acquire the SSN application for the other two to see what's on them then go from there. I'd also try to link up with some Washington-state Yuncks to see what they know. -- Tom
