I am hoping to reach as many YULO's in any place around the world. I am from Binalbagan Negros Occidental,Philippines. My ancestor starts with YU CHUA LO,MARIANO YULO married to MARIA MELLIZA. I am under the descendant of TEODORO M.YULO who is married to ROSARIO TOBIAS; As I understand YU CHUA LO hailed from China and migrated to the Philippines together with a brother. THIS IS WHERE I WANT TO CONCENTRATE. feel free to contact me at my email address.

I've also been trying to get the names of these two brothers the story of which was handed down to us. My granfather Felix S. Yulo was married to Teresa Salas Araneta, both of Ma-ao, Bago. How did you get this name Yu Chua Lo?

My father gave me the name of Yu Chua Lo. As far as I know, there were two brothers, a merchant and a landowner from China who migrated to the Philippines specifically in Neg. Occidental Island. We are from Binalbagan Neg. Occ. I am the eldest daughter of Teodoro A. Yulo Jr. whose father is Teodoro T. Yulo. Their grandfather is Teodoro Tobias-Yulo the eldest son of Pedro Regalado-Yulo,the oldest son of Teodoro Melliza-Yulo. I was told that we are a descendant of Yu Chua Lo. I am married now to Charlie Malabanan Collantes of Tanauan Batangas and my eldest son have this idea of tracing down ancestors as they are having a dificult time knowing their relatives on the Yulo's side here in Negros Occidental. If you are from Ma-ao, bago, then maybe you know Maribel Yulo-Torre and Chiquit Yulo? It would be of great help if you can post more Yulo's from Bago City.
Maybe you can visit our Yulo Family Site and try to look at some informations posted in the famuly tree section. You can get in touch with me through email: tricia_c@mozcom. com Are you married to Chiqui Holman? thanks. patricia yulo-collantes

Dear Carla, I accidentally got into this message thread two years ago also searching for the surname in the web. You're the second Binalbagan Yulo now in Batangas, if you read the previous thread, this message was initiated by a Yulo-Collantes; you might want to get in touch as you are related. The Yulo's of Negros, primarily of Binalbagan, are researching the ancestry now, it's being started by the family of Alfredo Yulo of Yulo's Park Bacolod. I am joining them in this search. I am from the Bago clan and ultimate you and are connected through this story about two Chinese brothers who settled in Negros from Pari-an, Molo, Iloilo. Let me know what kind of story were passed on to you by your father.
Best regards,
Prandy Yulo

Dear Gigi, Yes, Nene Yulo was my father which leads me now to ask how you know him? Perhaps through your father as well? I'm trying to get the connection to your branch from mine but so far can't find it. Yes, I heard about the Yulo's Park reunion and I corresponded with Manang Awing there. They are trying to research and I gave them tips on how to access the records in Molo. I tried doing it two Decembers ago but I could not find any Yulo entry prior to 1890.

dear prandy, so we are related talaga. years (as in years ago talaga!) i accompanied my father visit your dad in bacolod. they were good friends and your dad strucked me as a nice, humble and frieindly person. all i remember was my father introduced him as one of our titos. my dad's name is Teodoro, he is a lawyer, retired na. tita awing is our tita, twice related, coz her dad was my father's uncle, and her mom's was my mother's aunt. both my dad and mom are tita awing's first cousins. i missed the reunion opportunity because of work. but i also would like to keep lines open to relatives. am interested also with the family tree, and our ancestry. God bless.
