Hello everyone, my great grand father was Domingo Yulfo from Aquadilla, Puerto Rico. Looking for other Yulfo's to help in tracing our family history.

My grandfather was Vicente Yulfo. I am not quite sure where in Puerto Rico he was from but it could have been Rio Piedras or Aguadilla. There are many Yulfo's currently living in Florida. Especially the Orlando area.

Correction on my previous message.

My apologies please. I miss spelled my Grandfathers name. My Grandfather was Vincent Yulfo and my Grandmother was Frances (Panchi) Yulfo. May they both rest in peace and forgive me for misspelling Grandpa's name :)

Roseanne, thank you for your reply to my message. My maternal grand mother's name was Rosa Julia Milan Yulfo. I believe she was born in Aquadilla but raised in Arecibo, Puerto Rico. My great grand father was Domingo Yulfo from Aquadilla. From my families understanding the name was originally Dulfo and French. I recently recieved information from another Yulfo family member stating that the Yulfo's originated from Italy. I trying to confirm this but have not been able to yet. Anyways good luck and God bless from a cousin in NY.

Dear Alfred,
It was so very nice for you to respond to my message. When growing up I thought that the Yulfo's originated in France as well. Just in the past few years I found out otherwise. My aunt Alice did a Yulfo background check and she found out that we actually originated in Genoa, Italy,
therefore, making us part Italian. I guess that explains why many people thought I was Italian while growing up. I thought I was French (lol). Well, it was so very nice to have heard from a new cousin and look forward to hearing from many more. Please keep in touch. Bye for now. God bless.
From a cousin in Philly.

Hi,
I am trying to get in touch with my father's family. His name was Frank Yulfo. His mother's name was Eulalia. I believe they were born in San Turce, P.R. My father was killed in the disembarkment on Anzio Beach during the Second World War. He was born between 1915 and 1920. He married my mother, Alicia Sanchez, in Brooklyn, NY. Does this ring a bell for any of your relatives? I would love to hear from you. Best Regards.

Frances

I am a Yulfo and there are a whole slew of us. I don't know who's responded to you so far so I won't go into tons of details. I live in New Jersey, originally from the Bronx. My grandfather's name was Frank Yulfo, my father is Frank Yulfo. My cousin and aunt told me about this message board. We recently had a family reunion in New Jersey.

Hello Audrey I recently have been corresponding with your aunt Nell. My grandmother was Rosa Julia Yulfo and your grandfather Frank used to visit her and the family all the time, years ago when they all lived in East Harlem. My uncle William Lopez Yulfo even remembered where your grandfather and the rest of the family lived in Manhatten. It is so good to meet you, your cousin Freddy from Manhatten New York. PS, feel free to E-mail me at Martian fire @aol.com or jonah11686@cs.com , I look foward to hear from you. Ciao
