Renee Rosen-- I am Morris' grandson. By the way, you contacted my father a couple months ago and he mentioned me to you. He would be glad to see you and his schedule is free except for one week in April and he asked me to tell you that he is planning to answer your letter. I also have information for you, but this BB doesn't give much room. So please email me: yudelson@yahoo.com. I look forward to hearing from you. Cousin Arthur

Was told grandfather, Charles Yudelson, was from Latvia. He came to U.S. with brother & mother. Mother buried in Bklyn., under name Adelson. Charles married Yetta and had 7 sons and 2 daughters. Original surname was changed to Yudelson upon entry into U.S. by immigrations. Was told there was a "J" in the original name. Not positive of that. Don't know what year or what ship Charles came here on. Does any of this sound familiar to you?

I am looking for a Morris Yudelson who took art lessons in Cheltenham, Pennsylvania. If you know his whereabouts, please respond. I was in class with him.

At the library the other day, found something - not sure if it will be helpful or not.1964 Polk Directory:Adelson Rose r357 Colvin Av
She's the only Adelson listed. Checked 1959 and 1966 directories and she wasn't there. Just oddly, shows in the 64 directory only. Although many entries show occupations, this one did not. The r in front of address means 'residence' so I cross checked/looked up who lived at that address in 1964. It's a 2 family home and the 2 occupants listed in the 64 directory were: Davidoff Mamie Mrs (wid Julius) Remson Louis H (Yetta) Found that Julius was deceased prior to 1959 and this Louis Remson listed occupation as signalman NYC Sys His wife Yetta listed occupation as teacher Temple EmanuEl School Found obit on Yetta R Remson. She died 1/23/96. Was *hoping she'd have listed g-daughter as Rose but here's what the obit said: Remson, Yetta R. widow of Louis; mother of Arnold (Roberta) Jerome (Donna) and Rabbi Michael (Susan) Remson; brother of Max, Dora Freedman (Julius) and the late Hyman Davidoff; also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Services Wed 1pm Etkin-Schlager Funeral Home 4614 Main St Snyder NY. She had 3 sons so all g-children would've had last name Remson. Wonder if Rose could've been g-daugther of Davidoff's ? Well, not sure if this would be of any help at all, but it just seemed odd that this Rose suddenly appeared for a short time-actually appeared as to have been staying with people as this was 2 family residence and both units were occupied! Oh well, was hopeful, not sure if this makes any sense!

My great aunts name was Yetta Rosen and she married
a Charles Berkowitz. The names of their children are
Florence, Mildred and Bernard. The origianl last name
was Ojena and was changed to Rosen upon arrival to U.S.
Could there possibly be a connection?
