I am looking for any information on Ype Ypma born Nov 18, 1872 and married in Boswald, Netherlands, to Altje Velzen born June 7, 1867. They moved to America in the 1900's and lived in Mass. for 6 years. They then moved to Montana and settled there. They had 8 children Sako, Olga, Fred, George, Gertrude, Winnie, Frank, and Ray. If any one has any info on this Family I would apreciate it. The only remaining child is Winnie ter Telgte and she is 99 and she has no memory of grandparents. Thank You! Mariah

Actually, Frank is still around. He still lives in Manhatan with his daughter.

Frank is my grandfather

These are some pictures we took when we were last out in Manhattan. My mom grew up in Churchill, we now live in Grand Rapids Michigan

May I ask who your mother is? Ype Ypma is my husbands Great Grandfather. Winnie is his(my husbands) grandmother and Althea is his mother. I was wondering if would be willing to share some family history?

I'm working now on the data and bio of your Ype Ypma on FindaGrave, # 70223869, so please look there. If you have additions I would to hear that of course. It's my intention to link at FAG all his deceased children to him, complete their data and create a bio for them.

Greetings from the Netherlands,

Peter Hakze

P.S. How are you related to him? I'm not related to any Dutchy in Montana; since a few months I have become very interested in the Dutch settlement Holland, later called Amsterdam-Churchill and I want to investigate for the long term all the Dutch families here until about 1950, connect them to their ancestors in the Netherlands and complete their data and bio.
