My father was Clarence Leonard Yox, Jr from E. Aurora (he passed 7/8/06). He had a sister Bernice. Don't know too much about the history as I'm just beginning myself

Are you related to the previously owned Yox & Son Funeral Home on Seneca Street, Buffalo, NY. My GF was buried from there in1964 and I would like to find out where the records went whenever they went out of business. Thank you. Terry

Hi,Terry,I'm not sure yet we are still researching the family and have not come across all the members yet.If it was located in East Aurora it is a great possiblity.I will ask a cousin that still live in East Aurora and see if he knows.

Re: Yox (E.Aurora, Aurora, Hamburg, NY USA)= Jax (Hesse, Bremen, Germany)
Hi Bryan, I think we might be related. My grandmother on my dad's side was Minnie C. Yox from the Buffalo/E. Aurora area of NY state. She had a brother named Clarence. Your dad may be her brother's son. If so perhaps we can help each other out. My mother and I are researching the family history and my dad's not much help, because he doesn't see the value in it.
Looking forward to hearing from you.

Re: Yox (E.Aurora, Aurora, Hamburg, NY USA)= Jax (Hesse, Bremen, Germany)
That is correct Clarence jr is the father of my brother Mike and I. There is cousin ayme in Ohio who has done quite a bit of research. I was amazed someone had so much as it seems to be a Yox family trait to not know who any other family members are. Clarence died July 8th 2006. I'm currently inundated with more work etc but i will see how quickly I might be able to get it to you...I haven't contributed any items as yet but I have service records and photos including the medals my dad was awarded as a member of the 2nd ranger batallion (Saving Private Ryan). Other than that we're a sad bunch. My email is bryan@peoadvantage.com.
