Her first name was also Maria when she was still in yugoslavia but got changed in the process of coming to the united states. She was born in 1882 and died about 1960 in Michigan.

Her first husband first name is possibly sareta last name yovanovich a brother to the second husband) with him she had the following children: Sam Yovanovich, Maraion Yovanovich (Garadi) and Gina Yovanovich (Elich)

With her second husband Louis Yovanovich (b.oct 30,1893 d.nove 1970) she had the following children Louise Yovanovich (Rawza) Sylvia aka Beb Yovanovich (Marciniak) and Mildred Yovanovich (Bigger)

One of the daughters used to write to family over where they used to live in what used to be yugoslavia.

all the spellings of these names are all to my best knowledge and a cousin trying to help me so a few names may be misspelled concerning the first husband and the children of the first marriage.

Hi Jaclyn! I'm Franco, from Argentina. My paternal great-father, Juan Jorge Yovanovich (not sure how to spell it) was from what used to be Yugoslavia. He came to Argentina when he was a kid, and his father died in the boat. He was very superstitious so he changed his name to first name Juan, and last name Jorge, so Yovanovich's line got lost when he was enrolled in the Argentina. He didn't speak to much about his past life, but there are some things that I know, just details, like he passed through Spain in his journey, apparently the boat name was "El Gran Berenjel" and his father had the same name (that's why he changed it when his father died). Well, I hope it be usefull and if you can help me any way I'll be greatfull too!

I am trying to find anything on my family, i can only get as far back and my great great great grandmother Minnie Lucas(Yovonavich). Nothing on her parents or anything. They were in America and seemed to travel around a lot, but were very secretive when it came ot the census records recording different birth locations.
if you have any information or know someone who does i would appreciate it

thanks
