Hi Alison,
The one I was looking for was a William HenryYouds born abt 1864 in Liverpool, maybe John was a brother? I have William on the 1881census as living at home with his Mother, aged 15yrs, there was only the two of them that night. Not to say there aren't other family members though. His Mother's name was Jane Youds. Regards, Beverley.

Hi again Beverley,

after we mailed earlier this week I received some Youds from the BVRI, none are mine so if you want the list just let me know and I'll send it to you.

Out of interest, I found my great-grandmothers sister, she was in New York, she went in 1894 and I have 3 census ploting the expanding family, she never remarried after her husband Willaim Henry Youds died, I've had a really fruitful week.

Best wishes Val in Lancashire, England.

I have been researching Youd/s including a John, an Edith, Ellen from Houghton, Prescot, Cuerdley, Lancashire. The father of this family was Daniel, born in 1815, and his father was also Daniel. They were filecutters. Anybody tie in?

Hi Lionel,

Nice to hear from you again, yes you are quite right, I have since found out about William, this was an old posting way back in 2003, but thanks for answering anyway.

Best Regards,
Bev

Dear Beverely,
I just saw your message from 2003.
William Youds, not Robert, and Maria were married.
They had two sons Samuel Robert and William Henery Jr. my father. They moved to Wymore NE., in 1907
My grandparents returned to Liverpool once foe a visit.
My uncle Samuel returned twice, mabe three times to visit his aunts on the Fullwood side.I don't know the uncles aunts ot cousins on either side of the fsmily. I wish I did.
One of my grandmothers brothers and his family also moved to Wymore.
I hope this isn't too late,
Wally
