Hi, I'm Dana Youden of CBS and my ancestors are also from Bull Cove. The Thomas of Bull Cove (1790) is my G-G-grandfather. I have some information on the Youden family but I haven't organized it yet. If anyone wants to email me, my new email address is artistsworld@canada.com.

Does anyone know about a George Youden who lived in Bull Cove. (immigrated from Exector, England) There is a marriage record for him in 1797 in Harbour Grace. He married a woman named Christine Savery in St. Paul's Anglican Church. There is no other records of him and I was wondering if he is related to the Thomas Youden of 1824.

I think that James was the brother of my g-g grandfather, Thomas. As far as I know they both lived in Bull Cove (now renamed George Town) Thomas married Alice Walsh in 1905 and James married Bertha Fry in 1911. That would make us fourth or fifth cousins.

One really good site for information on Nf. is http://ngb.chebucto.org/index.html. That's where I've been getting all my information.

I live pretty close to you. CBS is about an hours drive or so from George Town. I drove through last summer to go to the blueberry festival.
