Re: Yother, what nationalty is this name?
In researching ancestors of my mother's family, I find a 'Yothers' - she was Eliza Yothers, born Nov 20 1843, passed away Dec 28, 1936. I visit her granddaughter (my cousin) several times a year - she's 86 years young and lots of fun. Eliza's parents were Benjamin Yoder and Catherine Wells, from Pennsylvania. An Amish friend of mine told me that he believed 'Yothers' was an adaptation of 'Yoder' when one left the Amish community. I haven't been able to confirm that. (Eliza Yothers is not my ancestor, so I haven't taken it much further. Getting the above info was difficult, but I was curious about my cousin's ancestors.)

Re: Yother, what nationalty is this name?
Just starting doing family research on my mother's side, Yothers. Benjamin and Catherine were my great, great, great grandparents. Their son, Levi, was my my grandfather's father. Not a whole lot of info on his side so far, I'm afraid. Looks like the this Chris Yoder fella seems to know a lot about it, though.
