Yore and Reilly are very common names in Carnaross Parish in north Meath. Try writing to Patrick Yore Carnaross Co.,Meath and see if you get a reply. Tell him you will buy him a pint of Guinness next time you are in Ireland!!

I have all the birth records for the family you are querying. They are from Dervor Carnaross Kells Co. Meath Ireland. Patrick Yore owns that farm today. My email is micyore@eircom.net, if you contact me i can email all the details of that entire family back as far as 1806.

Any chance that there is a Jane Yore in your pedigree?
I have a Hugh Beggan (or Beggin) marrying Jane Yore
about 1805 or so in County Meath.

Sincerely,

David

Hi! The information you provided is very interesting! It seems as though we might have some mutual distant relatives. Do you have any other info!?

I know that George Yore arrived in Boston in 1890 and soon after that moved to Cambridge, MA. His sister Mary also settled in Cambridge and married John Corr. A brother, Lawrence settled in nearby Sommerville. He married Julia Theresa Sullivan. I have traced the family as best I can to current times, but have not been able to contact any family members.

Shanon, There is a Don Bradley that is doing some research on a Yore that married a Bridget and I thought it was Reilly. He lives in Minnesota, or did the last time I was in touch with him. I have been trying to rebuild my address book as my computer started to crash in August...it's a slow process. Because he isn't a connection in my tree yet, I don't have his info. There is also a Don Finel that is doing some research on a Yore line if I recall.

I have researched my Reilly family in Carnaross, Meath, Ireland, My great grandmother Elizabeth Reilly had a sister, Bridget, who was baptized July 17, 1855 (Carnaross Church record). I was wondering if she could be your Bridget Reilly from Carnaross. Do you know when your Bridget died?
