HI Shannon, we corresponded for a bit around 2003. Not sure if ou know Mike passed away. I have a great grand father who was born in Syrcruse ~1845 named George Yore. His family moved to the Lake Forrest area Mike spoke of in prior postings.
As he indicated, we knew the Michigan Yore's were related to the Illinois Yore's and we know that the California, Florida and Colorago Yore's were too. Before he passed, he was working on a connection to the Missiori and Ohio Yore's. I have traced back the Yores that were in Nebraska to Missouri so far. There seems to be a group of Yore's that were 'late arrivals' to the USA, in the east coast. Do you know anything about where they came from in Ireland? I have a cousin who is currently actively doin g research. I haven't had allot of time to do so the last couple years. Hope this gets to you. If so, contact me so I can update your email.
