Barry,

In researching my husband's family, I found out that his 2nd great-grandmother was Bethia or Bertha Yordy. She was born around 1818 in Lancaster Co, PA. She married Joseph S. Kohn June 9, 1835 in Wayne Co, OH. Their son, Thomas Berkeley Kohn found his way to York Co., NE where he married Ida B. Lang in 1875.

If any of this sounds familiar, would you please let me know.

Thanks,

Sandy

Barry,
Do you have any more info on Barbara or Jacob- like Barbara's marriage, birth date? Did they go by Yordy or Jorde?

Sandy, I don't have any of those names in my papers, evidently they are another part of the family.

Heel, My name is Marguerite Kendell. I am seeking information on three brothers who left Pennsylavania in 180, 05, 06 to come to Canada. Jacob Heise was a Great, Great, Great, Great grandfather of mine. Their ancestors left Bavaria aboard the Adventurere On Oct. 2 1727 and took up land around Lancaster, Lebanon area of Pennsylavania. Looking for information.
Thank You
